After an extensive search for my perfect boxer dog, I happily stumbled upon Von Shon Boxers website and spoke with Robin and her familiy
numerous times taking the next step to adopt Morrie.
My parents lived near Asheville (I am in Fort Lauderdale) and went to visit the boxer pup's and to meet Morrie of course. At the time, he was too tiny to fly to me here in Fort Lauderdale. My parents took pics, sent them to me and I was always in close contact with Robin coordinating the arrangements for his arrival.
After a few weeks and a plane ride for both Morrie & Robin (thanks Robin!), he arrived.
I have never been so thrilled with a pet in my life. Morrie is the best boxer dog in the world, he's smart, sweet and very loving. He's the PERFECT BOXER DOG!
I had submitted photos of him to the AKC and they ended up picking an image of him with his orange ball in his mouth. He was chosen as one of the top 100 cutest dogs for the AKC newsletter!
It was so exciting! I couldn't have agreed with the AKC more! He really is the best dog ever!!!

To all of you looking at Von Shon pups from around the country, we’d like to
share a bit of our buying experience with you. It started in late October 2005
when we wrote Robin to get some more info about her puppies. She quickly
responded with a detailed email answering all of our questions. From there we communicated regularly through e-mail
and phone calls and as soon as the pups were born the first week in September we sent in our reservation fee. We picked
out little Jackson from a photo she emailed us when he was only 2 days old - and
we couldn’t be more pleased with how handsome he has become! He has lots of character, is very smart, outgoing, and
absolutely loves to cuddle. Everyone that sees him comments on how beautiful his markings are and how calm he is.
Throughout the first 6 weeks of his life Robin regularly sent photos so we could see our little one grow up, because we were so far away (we live in Portland, Oregon) and we couldn’t come visit.
When the day came to fly out and get him Robin arrived at the airport with Jackson all ready to go. He had all of the necessary vet papers, had been given medicine to calm his nerves on the flight and keep him from needing to go to the bathroom, and was in a perfectly sized airplane approved carrier. He was quite a good little traveler. She warned us that he may not have an appetite and may seem kind of withdrawn for the first few days, but he was happy and settled in the next morning!
I wanted to share all of that because we were very concerned about buying a puppy from across the country. The big reason we decided to contact Von Shon Boxers was because they had a good website, with all the necessary info and had tons of beautiful photos of past puppies (which if you’ve been looking for boxers on the web for a while, you’ll know that is quite rare!) And we couldn’t have been more pleased with how it all turned out. I’ve included a photo of Jackson so you can check him out for yourself.
